We celebrated Pioneer Day here in Utah last week and I realized I really didn't know much about the pioneers. I used to though. Growing up, I would go to the Palmyra Pageant each summer and would visit all the church sites. It was time I got back into church history!
Using information provided on the Church's "
The Trek West" website, I came up with this
Jeopardy-like game. You can divide the girls into two teams and each team gets a turn choosing a question based on the point level. Some of the questions are pretty hard... but they should be able to guess it based on the multiple choice answers, making the questions pretty easy. There is also a "Pioneer Board" where the girls can keep track of their score as they move a game piece on the pioneer trail on the board close to Utah from Illinois.
