So I saw something online about God's promises and I don't think we can tell & remind and tell again kids (not to mention adults like myself) enough how much God loves us and how He promises to keep so many promises to us. I chose just 10 for this activity.
(Please note the following pics were taken before I made some edits... now it says "God Keeps His Promises)
Start by cutting out the promises and writing your own name on the line.
Then as you read the scriptures and match the promise, glue the promise over the verse reference.

You end up with a page of promises to hang up somewhere in your home to remind you that God Keeps His Promises!! Since I'm pretty sure just about every kid wants to make cookies pretty much every activity, I tied this "God Keeps His Promises" worksheet in with baking... "As sure as dough bakes in a hot oven". I figure while the dough is baking, this would be the perfect activity to work on. I made recipe cards for 4 different recipe... pick your poison! |
