This activity took me about 20 mins prep to cut and prepare two page spread, then time to hide puzzle pieces.
Plan for during the activity:
1. Find hidden puzzle pieces around church (or wherever)
2. Match puzzle piece with correct apostle and spot on poster
3. Read and Seek to follow their counsel
You can run this where you have all the kids spread out at once and come back and put thier puzzle piece on the poster right away, or you can have them hang onto thier puzzle peice and fill in the spots one bye one.
Another idea is to have younger kids pick up the puzzle pieces with pictures and the older kids pick up the quotes. Then when the older kids put thier quote puzzle peice in, they can read the quote.

Pages fit on a large chalkboard perfectly

My daughter finding her peice. We had about 40 kids show so we told each kid to go find one peice, then we had the older kids grab an extra until they were all found.
Putting all the peices on the board was a little nuts but I think the kids had a blast. We had the whole primary (not just valiant ages) and we didn't want to lose thier attention... so we ended up only reading quotes for the first presidency.... but we decided we will keep this up for a while for the kids to look at.

It was a nice day, so we hid the pieces around the outside of the church under rocks

After the "hide and seek", we had a pizza party and had time left over to play a little soccer. Bonus- the missionary showed up and played soccer too :)
