Personal Development Lesson Pages + Powerpoint for Latter Day Saint Goal Development Lesson.

So somewhere between Covid and our ward splitting (a couple times) I am sad to say we hadn't really taught the children in our ward properly about the Child Development Program.

We decided to hold a special meeting with parents right after sacrament during senior primary's usual class time to go over the program, make sure everyone had a development book and we passed out a personal development handout and give parents and children some right to brainstorm and right down goals.

I used the papers for this lesson, but since I know a lot of people would much prefer a PowerPoint, I also whipped that up.

Here's the flow of how we taught the program:

At the end of the lesson, we gave parents and children about 10 minutes to fill this out. We had this laminated front/back and also gave a dry-erase marker to try to make it fun for the kids and so they can switch up their goals anytime they want to.

And in case you're more interested in the PowerPoint... this is the flow on super speed. The animations are set to move forward upon the click of the mouse.

ALL the files for this lesson (paper, PowerPoint, and handouts) are available HERE
