Those that have followed by blog for a minute have probably seen a few of these type of activities. I finally got around to updating it with the 2025 theme and wanted to share. If your new here.... this blog post explains this activity just a bit better :)

Latter Day Saint Temple Trip Itinerary with Temple Lesson Aids and Future Temple Recommend

We did a primary activity at the Temple and I loved it!! Loved it so much I wanted to create this sort of activity guide so others could do this activity too! You should be able to use these files at any temple... and if you don't meet at a nearby park, you can perhaps meet on the far side of the stake center and still have a little walk to the temple together.

So we met at a nearby park and told all the parents to meet us there. There was a little playground and some parking in the shade and we let the kids play there until we were ready to start the activity. Then we all walked to the temple together (like a few blocks). 

Then we had a different leader be in charge of a "stop". So I talked about Baptism for the dead, another leader talked about Endowments and another talked about Sealings.

 I got to give credit to one of the leaders for this idea... she was darling and had signs for each covenant we make during the Endowment and I thought it was so great! She also talked about how a heart is a symbol. The heart in our chest that beats and gives us life isn't actually in the shape of a "heart". And there's a lot of symbols in the temple that represent Christ and the covenants we make with God. Loved that analogy!!  

So then I made these "signs" that a leader can hold up at each station with a script on the back for what you can share at each place. All the information can be found online.

Momentarily interrupting my primary activity posts to share about Zion Bands! 

All you do is tap your bracelet on your phone and it automatically pulls up a daily Book of Mormon verse that looks like this... 

A friend of mine started making these and I think it's such a great idea! I've already seen this be so so good for my 12 year old. He wears his bracelet everyday and seems excited to get to scan to read a scripture. I also got one for my nephew as a birthday gift... he's about to leave on a mission and thought this would make an awesome farewell gift or even baptism gift. My son doesn't have his own phone but uses mine and I totally love when I reach for my phone and the Book of Mormon verse pulls up. 

Anyway, wanted to share because I think these are great and might be that little extra tool that someone's looking.
